Have you ever roofed a house, built a deck or staircase, done plumbing, installed doors or windows, or painted a house? If not, that’s OK. Have you ever cleaned a fire pit, washed windows, swept walkways, planted flowers, spread mulch or painted trim. You haven’t? That’s all right too. You do not need to have any of these skills in order to join others from Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church on the Adult Work Weekend. Do you enjoy laughing and working with others, learning more about yourself and your capabilities, strengthening your faith and doing God’s work in helping others? Do you like to make new friends and renew old friendships? You are who we are looking for. Some assume that you have to be highly skilled to go on the Adult Work Weekend. Not so! There is something for everyone to do. If your wish is to become more skilled, we can teach you. If your answer to any of the questions above was “Yes,” what are you waiting for? Please consider joining us May 17 – 20 at Camp Henry in Newaygo, Michigan for the 14th RGPC Adult Work Weekend. Cost of the trip is $125 and scholarships are available. An informational meeting will be held on March 18 at 11:45 in the chapel.
