Mark, Lisa, Justin and Jamie:
We joined Rosedale Gardens in 2006.
We went to Rosedale a few times and each time, someone new said it was nice having us there. I met my now best buddy, Bill, who greeted us warmly, and asked us to come back. ;-)  It didn’t take us long to feel at home at Rosedale; my family and my sister’s family joined that fall.
We continue to grow in our new home away from home at Rosedale. Justin went on three mission trips and is now in college; Jamie attends youth group and has gone on four mission trips; Lisa is a Deacon and she enjoys her friends and helping others. I am a youth group sponsor, I’m on the tech committee, and recently joined the staff as the youth group music person.
We’ve nurtured great new friendships with wonderful people. We’re grateful to be part of the fellowship and look forward to many years here.

from Jim and Jamie…….

In the beginning of November of 2005 my life was changed on a journey with 18 people.  Seventeen of these people were nearly strangers to me.

I was approached by a member of the church one day at work in late September and asked if I would be interested in going on a Katrina relief mission trip to the Gulf coast.  I have known John for 20+ years through the hospital profession. I knew immediately that I wanted to go.  At a preparatory meeting I met the group of people that would also be going from this church.  Being as shy as I am (JUST KIDDING) I seemed to feel right at home from the beginning. In early November I left on a mission trip with 18 people I didn’t know much about.  I came home a week later with 18 new brothers and sisters.  The people of this church are the reason that Jamie and I joined Rosedale Gardens Prebyterian Church.

Out of Chaos, I found a wonderful church family.
