Dear Rosedale Family ~

Yesterday we received word that a couple of attendees at last Sunday’s outdoor worship service in the park tested positive for COVID. Our worship service is NOT the source of their positive results. If you were in close contact with these individuals, you will be notified personally so you can take the necessary steps as recommended by the Health Department. Because we practiced social distancing guidelines and were outdoors, the risk to others at the service is exceedingly low, according to RGPC member and epidemiology Ph.D, Chris Johnson.

However, out of an abundance of caution, the Session has decided that we will once again return to worshiping together through our online, prerecorded Sunday morning worship services beginning this Sunday, August 16th.

Your safety has always been, and continues to be, our number one priority – so we ask that you continue to keep the Session, the staff, and your pastors in your prayers as they seek God’s wisdom in making decisions while navigating the ever-changing landscape of this pandemic. And of course, please pray for those who have been personally affected by this virus over the past 5 months.

We truly to do “Go Together,” especially as these uncertain days of COVID that continue to stretch on longer than any of us ever expected. On behalf of the staff, know that we are here to serve you. We hold you and your loved ones in our prayers. We are grateful to serve Christ with you in the vital ministry and mission that is RGPC. Keep your eyes on Christ, take care of yourselves, and take care of one another. Thank you for your outstanding care of our church family.

Your Partners in Ministry,
Pastors Kellie and Kate
