The Deacons are doing a second food drive this summer and we would appreciate it if you could get the word out.  The dates below have already been confirmed by Kellie and Babs.

We have two upcoming dates for food drop-off and a list of food items that we need.  Please note the times are different on the two dates.

 

Food Drop Off Dates and Times

Saturday, August 21st  11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Saturday, August 28th 12 – 2 p.m.

Food Items Needed

Cereal, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and spaghetti sauce, soup, baked beans, mac and cheese. dried potato mix, dried rice mix, canned tuna and chicken, brownie and cake mix, Jello, and pancake or waffle mix.

Also, when possible we would like contributed items in plastic jars instead of glass so they can also be used in our Community Cupboard.

We are also collecting school supplies to include with the food delivery to assist with back to school needs.  We have come up with the list below:

Pencils, small pencil sharpeners, erasers, notebooks, folders, markers, crayons, and colored pencils.
