Memorial Sunday Worship ~ Serving Those Who Serve

Join us for worship Sunday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m.  All active duty, retired and veteran military, first responders and their families are invited.  A quilt will be presented to an honored guest.

Twenty-two crosses have been made and will be reverently placed on our lawn along West Chicago all week.  Why 22 crosses?  It is a staggering statistic that in the United States: 22 veterans a day take their own lives. Above the crosses will be a tribute sign that reads, “We Remember…” in honor of ALL those who have served our country in the Military and in the First Responder Community.

Helpful resources will also be available.

As an act of community let us give God thanks for those who have entered the church triumphant and to pray for comfort and peace of Christ to be upon their families and friends.

Attendees are encouraged to bring photos of their friends and loved ones who have served and a prayer will be offered on their behalf.
