RGPC’s Current Response to the Coronavirus

Dear Rosedale Family ~

As you are well aware, there has been much media coverage recently in regards to concerns over the coronavirus. As a community of faith, we lift in prayer all of those who have lost loved ones, those who are currently infected with the virus, those who are being quarantined and those looking for a cure.

We also want to assure you that the pastors and staff are aware of the concerns posed by the spread of this virus, however, at this time we are choosing to respond according to the recommendations of the experts at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Since there are currently no known cases in Michigan, the MDHHS recommends the usual preventive measures taken during the average flu season – and that is regularly washing your hands, covering your mouth when you sneeze or cough, and stay home if you are sick.

We recognize that Rosedale is an active building open to the public for a variety of community activities all week, and we plan to proceed with our normal activities until the experts at the MDHHS suggest otherwise. We have also been blessed with an incredible Church Caretaker in Sandy Powers who is diligent in her work, including sanitization of all used areas.

While we conduct “business as usual” we ask that we all continue to keep in our prayers those most affected by this virus.
